cause you’d go broke in 2 days – notice how he didn’t mention anything about the news report/equity/commodity move that spurred that. sure you can play it technically but had that been anything weaker than a nfp or unemployment result he would have gotten stopped out hard. i.e. keep trying this with every move and you WILL go broke.

I’m not saying it …
I’m not saying it doesn’t work, just that I would papertrade this setup and work it out before putting down real money; I have had some really bad stressful trade experiences in the month and half of forex trading, but this and an AUDCAD trade today where IBFX put the spread price so high just knocked me out the game a full day, I could not trade or even look at charts. I’m going to get a good sleep and start back in on Sunday evening refreshed. Sometimes you have to just walk away for a while.

Very good EXCEPT …
Very good EXCEPT your entry point! It didn’t reach the 61.8% fib level, fell a few pips short my friend. But even if it did, there’s no way you can take the price reaching that fib level as a signal AND an entry point when it only reached that price for probably only a split second. You would have to ALWAYS enter on the 61.8 retracement for this to work. Why didn’t you enter on 50%, how did you know price would reach 61.8, and why not 78.6? Good profit taking strategy though.
