Is Fap Turbo Profitable?

Both the small and long term strategies of Fap Turbo have been very successful so far. The small term strategy hardly ever makes a losing trade and when it does the losses are small. The long term strategy makes much larger profits than the original Forex Autopilot, but is also safer because of the fixed stop loss parameter and improved trade filters. I tested Fap Turbo in a demo account for 2 weeks and the results were as follows. My $5000 demo account has nearly doubled to $9466 over the 2 week test period. A net profit of +1818 pips were achieved, consisting of +1468 pips from the long term strategy and +350 pips from the small term strategy. The gaps are not present on forex as much as other markets, as it is a continuous market, but on Mondays the market can open with a gap, and currencies will give you brilliant setups. Gap trading techniques are very effective. Lets have a look at one of the currencies which gave us an brilliant one today.

The NZD/USD gave us a gap, though not a very large one – usually the larger the gap, the larger the go. We wait for the market to come back down to fill the gap, and went in Small upon a Bearish Divergence, expecting the price to fill the gap, which it did. The gap turns into a kind of channel, and price found support at this level. A nice Small trade on the NZD/USD, without all that much effort, which is the main advantage of gap trading.

Lets go over one intraday trade which we did take before following up with some longer term positions. On the GPB/JPY, during the post London session, we anticipated the breakout of a Triangle Formation. We have some techniques for triangle trading, one of which is called the Head Fake Line, which determines whether the expected breakout is right. But the fact is – nobody can predict the direction of the breakout.

The bias was bullish, but until the price really breaks out of the triangle in some way, we cannot confirm it. Once it does, we have the Head Fake Line which we plot in the room, to give us the exact targets and anticipated movement post-breakout. We have also identified a Bullish 1-2-3 Formation, which supported our view of the price remaining Long.

We managed to capture this breakout before the New York session started, and got a decent amount of profit on the GBP/JPY. Post-NY session of course, the GBP/JPY and Yen pairs rely more on the Dow movements, so we do not look at longer term trades, just small-term technical patterns.

Following up on the GBP/USD, since the last 2-3 days, it has broken out of a channel line, and we are anticipating a Bullish Flag Formation. We are expecting more strong upmoves on this pair. But with fundamentals due this week, the interest rate announcements on the 31st, plus the NFP’s on Friday the 2nd, long term positions are a small dicey. Lets restrict ourselves for intraday trades for now.

On the GBP/JPY, 1h charts, what we were looking for is a Hidden Bullish Divergence – waiting for price to come and find support at a Fibonacci Fan level. When it did so, we went Long on this pair, and managed to capture some profit on the upmove. This was a decent trade, but he point is that we identify a situation and use our tools to let price give us a confirmation.

Similarly, on the EUR/JPY 30 min charts, we identified a 1-2-3 Pattern. This is something that can serve as an brilliant pullback indication. Different tools are to be used on different patterns. In case of this 1-2-3 Pattern, we used the Fibonacci Expansions to plot our targets. We walked out with a clean 45 points profit. We do not know where prices would go after this point, so we do not risk our account.

Another “bread and butter” system is the Daily Pivots. On the EUR/CHF this strategy works surprizingly well. Our Momentum Value indicator is showing Longs for the day, and we waited for the price to find support at a Pivot level, waited for a Trendline Break, went in clean upon the break of the trendline, and proceeded with our money management procedures, moving up stops, and targeting the expected high range of the day.
